layer masks

I read this tutorial earlier this morning, and then went on my way. It wasn't until later, while editing some bridals, that I decided I needed to figure this whole layer-mask-thing out. You could see the couple just fine, but the temple in the background was completely over-exposed. Thank you, layer masks!
